Alexandra Dogaru

She completed her ballet studies at the "Floria Capsalli" High School of Choreography and then graduated from the "I.L. Caragiale" University of Theatre and Cinematography, Choreography department in the class of Univ. prof. Raluca Ianegic. She completed her Master's degree in Educational Management at the "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University.

She started her activity at the National Opera in Bucharest, continuing for nine years at the Comic Opera for Children. Some of the shows in which she danced solo roles are: Fetița cu chibrituri, Pygmalion, Oblio, Frumoasa din pădurea adormită, Peter Pan, Don Quijote, Mirandolina, Cenușăreasa (The Little Match Girl, Pygmalion, Oblio, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Don Quijote, Mirandolina, Cinderella) and Hapciu în Re Major (Achoo in B Minor).

She is currently a Professor of Ballet and Modern Dance at the School of Ballet, Modern Dance, Acting and Music DansAct Studio.

At the Stela Popescu Theatre you can see her in the following roles: Squeaky in the children’s show Lampio și grăuntele de lumină (Lampio and the Grain of Light) by Victoria Pătrașcu (directed by Tony Adam), Step Sister in the children’s show Revolta poveștilor (The Uprising of the Stories) by Sînziana Popescu (directed by Tony Adam), The Flower in Micul Prinț (The Little Prince) adapted from Antoine de Saint Exupèry (directed by Ioana Macarie), the Angel in Hoțul de mărgăritare (Stealing Lily of the Valley) by Valeriu Anania (directed by Amalia Ciolan), Mimi in Femeia, eterna poveste (Woman, The Eternal Mystery) by Ema Stere (directed by Atilla Vizauer) and Jucător Player in Barbă albastră (Bluebeard) adapted from Max Frisch (directed by Alexander Hausvater).
